Can you say HOT???? August 2, 2008

Today was incredibly busy and productive and without the unflagging support (and sweat equity) of my brothers Chuck and Tom, Pat my nurse, and Kevin, Mairen, Declan, Conall, and friends Lori, Scott, and Mark moving all the furniture into the rooms would never have gotten done.  There is still more to do tomorrow including hanging the artwork and a few final pieces to assemble but we are in really good shape.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the building is on the fritz and when we arrived at 9 am at the office the temperature was already 83 inside….it got hotter as the day went on.  We ran fans and drank gallons of water and called my landlord who knew it was a problem late Friday afternoon….the air conditioning folks will be out but not until Monday morning….soooo if you have an appointment on Monday, come lightly dressed!  It is a scorcher!  We will have cold water and some fans but until the air is on it is uncomfortable.

I am really excited to open up on Monday and the well wishes and support from family, friends and patients alike makes this all the better!

Sweat, lift heavy objects, and drink a lot of water and each day will be your best!

Wow. The office is GORGEOUS. I am so excited to come there, though I’m sure FJ will not feel the same way when you shoot her up with all kinds of stuff. It’s amazing–you did a great job. Love it!!
